"My fitness routine has followed the trends that seem to be happening around the world of fitness."

"In the 80s and 90s (my 20s and 30s) it was all weight-based training and for an endorphin rush—lots of high-low aerobics and step aerobics.

-

In the 2000s (my 40s)—it was all BootCamp based training. Very high energy —lots of treadmills and sprinting. Indoors and outdoors (I was living in LA)

-

In the 2010s (my 50s) it became About functional movement, compound exercises, kettlebells, pushing the sled, and the conditioning trifecta of the Assault Bike, SkiERG, and the Rower.

-

In the 2020s (my 60s) my training incorporates some of the functional movements I learned in the teens—but the emphasis has been on mobility. Today I realize how critical movement is and how I need to do everything in my power to ensure that my body is able to move and move efficiently."
